1. Start your morning at Root Down Coffee
Enjoy handcrafted espresso drinks, freshly brewed coffee, & high-quality loose-leaf teas at Root Down Coffee in Conneaut. Head down to the Conneaut Harbor afterwards to enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Erie. Open 7am-6pm.
2. Hop on the Covered Bridge Trail
Choose one of two scenic, self-guided driving trails or stop by a few of your favorite covered bridges. Pick up a printed map at the ACCVB office, which is located at 1850 Austinburg Rd. Austinburg, OH 44010.
3. Grab a slice at Nights & Weekends
Nights & Weekends is a wood-fired pizzeria serving up Neapolitan-style pies alongside small plates, salads, craft beer, wine and cocktails. Bring your whole family! Open 5pm-9pm.
4. Stop for a sweet treat at the Little Pie Shop & Cafe
In addition to fresh baked pies and pie by the slice, the Little Pie Shop & Cafe offers delicious breakfast and lunch. Open from 6am-3pm.
5. Explore the Ashtabula County MetroParks
The Ashtabula County MetroParks include the Western Reserve Greenway Trail, ten parks and over 40 miles of trails to discover! Parks are open dawn until dusk.
6. Wind down & shop at Fitzgerald’s Wine Bar
Fitzgerald’s Wine Bar features international wine, select craft and domestic beers, spirits and food. The first floor retail area features local wines and wine from around the world as well as gift items. Open 4:30pm-8:30pm.
7. Pick up all things Apple at Robinson’s Apple Barn
Stop in Robinson’s Apple Barn for freshly picked apples, apple fritters, apple pie and apple cider! Open 10am-5pm.
8. Grill your own steak on a volcanic stone at GOTL Brewing Company
Enjoy a variety of local craft beers at GOTL Brewing Company. Test your cooking skills by grilling your own steak on a 800 degree volcanic stone! Open 4pm-9pm.
9. Visit over 110+ barn quilt locations on the Barn Quilt Trail
Launched in early 2014, the Barn Quilt Trail has grown to 112 barn quilts, including three on covered bridges. The barn quilts celebrate the county’s agricultural heritage, its prominence in the Underground Railroad movement, natural area preservation, and Great Lakes maritime history.
10. Visit one of our Wineries!
