Brain Health Culinary Medicine Class
This class focuses on brain health and cognitive function through hands-on cooking, food demonstrations, and shared meals featuring recipes designed to support brain health and help prevent disease. The session highlights the importance of a nourishing, brain-healthy breakfast.
Participants will be introduced to a science-based approach from The Alzheimer’s Solution: A Breakthrough Program to Prevent and Reverse the Symptoms of Cognitive Decline at Every Age by Drs. Ayesha and Dean Sherzai.
The class is part of a Culinary Medicine program developed by physician and chef Michelle Hauser in partnership with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Lifestyle Medicine is a medical specialty that empowers individuals to take control of their health using evidence-based tools such as sleep, nutrition, movement, detoxification, social connection, and stress management to prevent disease, promote wellness, and in some cases, reverse chronic illness.
