The 2nd Annual Downtown Geneva Wizarding Walkabout invites visitors to experience a day filled with magic, creativity, and fun in Downtown Geneva. Celebrating Back to School with a magical twist, the event features a Marauder’s Map of activities throughout Geneva’s amazing local businesses.
Participants can mix up their own potion, pot a mandrake to take home, set Dobby free with some socks, enjoy a butterbeer mocktail or cocktail, discover their house, and decorate their own wand.
Maps will be available for purchase throughout the month of August for $12 each. The purchase of a map provides access to kid- and adult-friendly activities at each participating business. Once completed and turned in at Lake Erie Book Company, participants will be entered into a raffle to win a magical basket filled with contributions from all participating businesses.
Additional activities throughout the event include face painting, professor impersonators, enchanting cocktails, mocktails, sweet treats, and a costume contest. Dressing up in wizarding attire is encouraged as guests are invited to embrace their magical side while exploring Downtown Geneva.
