Grand River Cellars in Madison invites guests to create their own light-up holiday gnome sign during an acrylic painting workshop led by artist Cory. Participants will paint a wooden NOEL sign featuring a gnome in place of the “O,” measuring just over 20 inches long.
Cory will demonstrate beginner-friendly blending techniques to create a wood-grain look, with guests choosing their own colors and adding personal touches. The finished signs will feature battery-powered LED lights, cotton accents for the gnome’s hat or snowy details, and a miniature gift. Wooden feet are included so the sign can stand on any flat surface, making it a perfect fireplace mantel decoration.
All supplies, instruction, and a drink from the winery are included. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, and advance registration is encouraged.
