From his very first performance at an open mic night in Columbus to performing at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Mo Andrews has been winning over fans for more than 10 years throughout northeast and central Ohio.
A classical musician by training, Andrews picked up his first guitar while living with some bandmates in the summer of 1999. From there, he began composing original material and performing throughout Columbus. In 2003, Andrews recorded “Everything You Never Knew You Loved”, which showcased his burgeoning talent as a songwriter. This album was used as the soundtrack for the indie film “Pizza: The Movie” and featured on several college radio stations.
Later that year, Andrews moved to the Cleveland area, where he worked his way in to the local music performing in Lakewood, Kent, and Tremont. Andrews continued to develop as a songwriter and performer, which culminated in his 2007 album, “The Hard Goodbye”, which delivered a more produced sound than his debut album and included the crowd-pleasing hits “Fire Escape” and “I”ll Tell You Everything Tomorrow”.
In 2008, Andrews moved to Chicago where he continued to perform and later moved back to Northeast Ohio in 2011 where he currently lives.
