Water Conservation and Fishing in NE Ohio and Kayak Raffle — May 27, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
The Friends of Rock Creek Public Library will be culminating their main Annual Fundraiser on May 27 with a family friendly program on Water Conservation and Fishing in Northeast Ohio. The program will take place on May 27, 5:30- 6:30 pm at the Rock Creek Public Library Annex, 3210 N, Main Street in Rock Creek.
Guest speakers will include Amberly Berry of The Nature Conservancy, Jay Wilber – President of the Rock Creek Conservation Club and Mike Chevalier – President of the Roaming Shores Fishing Club. Additionally there will be information from the Coast Guard and Ashtabula County Metroparks available for attendees.
A pedal/paddle and modular fishing kayak valued at $1800 will be raffled off by the Friends at the end of the program. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $20 and can be purchased at the Rock Creek Public Library. The winner does not need to be present for the drawing
