Led by the Director & Head Coach of SPIRE Soccer, Sean Lane, learn what it takes on and off the field to reach your peak potential in your sport. Coach Lane brings over 25 years of combined international playing & coaching experience at the pro level with time spent in England, Asia and Australia. His coaching philosophy is based on developing strong, well-adjusted, and capable individuals through training in a positive and cohesive environment. This camp is geared toward athletes working to reach an elite level in soccer with an acute focus on physical and mental skill improvement. This 5-day pro-style camp experience will include individualized attention to technical skill development, positioning, and team tactics. Elevate yourself with multiple training sessions each day in world class facilities and a positive environment. Spire's Performance Training Team will work with you individually to develop a training plan that will bring added strength, speed, agility, and flexibility to your skill set. Gain understanding for the importance of proper nutrition needed fuel your body in training and on game days. Physical and technical training are only part of personal growth in soccer. Elite athletes must have mental toughness and be able to manage stress, anxiety, and expectations. Spire's Pro Experience Camp will implement activities dedicated to becoming a well-rounded individual, developing leadership skills, and preparing you for success beyond high school. Additional activities and training in this unique camp setting will include: - Physical & Technical Training(soccer technique development and Performance Training). - Mental Skills Training (goal setting, managing emotions, visualization and more). - Social Media Training (networking, developing your personal brand, privacy & safety). - Pro Talk (hear from one of Coach Lane’s mentors from around the world on how to achieve your personal best). - Yoga Session (connect mind and body with focus on breathing techniques and proper stretching). - Fun campus activities and games.
