What to expect
Camp Peet Metropark, also known as the Clara D. Peet Nature Preserve, encompasses 65 acres along Conneaut Creek—an Ohio-designated Wild and Scenic River. The park includes about one mile of creek frontage, offering serene views and access for fishing and kayaking. Visitors can enjoy roughly 1.5 miles of walking trails through a stream forest buffer rich in wildflowers like bluebells, diverse woodland and riparian habitats, and dramatic stream bluffs. The site remains a peaceful destination connected to the historic Creek Road Covered Bridge. Primitive camping continues to be available primarily for organized youth groups, with reservations required for group use.
