What to expect
Phooey Farms is dedicated to sharing the very best homemade products with the local community and visitors, crafted to help them take a heartfelt stroll down memory lane. Their mission is simple: to bake gourmet goodies that inspire joy, bring people together, spark fond memories, and enrich every life with warmth and sweetness.
They bake fresh artisan breads daily, including classic Sourdough, Pumpernickel, Russian Black Bread, Amish White, Honey Wheat, 7-Grain, Multi-Grain, Nissua, French Baguettes, Ciabatta, Italian, and Focaccia. Each loaf is made with care, and many become the stars of their hot sandwiches—such as the customer favorites: Phooey Farms Italian, Ham & Swiss, and Turkey Bacon hoagie subs. (Yes, even the hoagie rolls are homemade and baked fresh every day!)
Phooey Farms believes in doing things the old-fashioned way—making everything from scratch with only the finest ingredients. Their bakers prepare decadent pastries daily, including Biscotti, Cannoli, Cheesecake, Cream Puffs, Chocolate Cream Puffs, Cookies, Palmiers, Cardamom Rolls, Bear Claws, Nutella Twists, and much more.
Beyond their bakery, they love sharing products that celebrate quality and tradition. On their shelves, one can find specialty ketchups, mustards, and salad dressings, their own Phooey Farms “Dust” seasonings, infused salts and rubs, local honey and jams, homemade pasta, and premium Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars on tap!
When it’s time for a sweet finish, visitors can stop by their Ice Cream Shop for a scoop of Cockeye Creamery ice cream (from Trumbull County) or treat themselves to smooth, creamy gelato. Guests can relax with their treats in the new seating area or out on the patio.
Supporting the community is at the heart of what Phooey Farms does. They proudly feature local grass-fed beef, chicken, pork, and lamb from Moores Heritage Farms (Ashtabula County), famous dips from Ohio Spice Craft (Ashtabula County), a wide selection of unique, top-quality cheeses, custom-made cutting boards by Barely Square (Ashtabula County), and even handmade purses from Mom, Me, and Z (Ashtabula County)! They believe in eating local, shopping local, and celebrating all that Ashtabula County has to offer.
