Preparations for the Ohio Conference on Travel are in full swing. We hope you are planning to arrive early because we are rolling out the red carpet!
Six exclusive experiences are planned on Tuesday, September 30. Space is limited.
Come early and treat yourself before OCOT 2025 begins! The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake is honoring room block rates on Monday, September 29, too, so come early!

SUNRISE CHARTER FISHING
Be amazed by the bounty of Lake Erie with an early morning fishing excursion. We are seeing record-sized walleye this year. Fishing license is required. Cleaning is included + fish will be stored until you depart the conference. (This trip will begin before sunrise. *Rain date: October 1). $60
FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
Join the team at Ferrante Winery and Ristorante for a unique harvest-season tasting that pairs wine samples with delicious, curated menu items. Guests will be invited to the cellar for a private barrel tasting and a peek behind the scenes where the magic happens. Time: 11 AM – 1 PM. $25
TASTING IN THE VINES
Let the Kosicek family guide you through a harvest-season tasting in the vineyard. Taste the grape off the vine while sipping the estate wine that the grape becomes! Enjoy six to eight different varieties. Experience the magic of the Grand River Valley region from grapes to glass. Time: 1-3 PM. to $20
WINE TASTING 101
Intimidated by wine? Let us fix that! Learn how to taste wine from Donniella Winchell, Executive Director of Ohio Wine Producers Association. Whether you are a seasoned sampler or a beginner, participants learn simple steps that will leave your tastebuds dancing. Depart the cellar with wine-tasting confidence. Time 3-5 PM. $20
BRIDGE STREET BITES
Explore quaint Ashtabula Harbor, where the Ashtabula River meets Lake Erie. Still a working deep-water port, it is rumored to have once boasted 98 bars and 99 brothels. Enjoy a progressive evening of small plates, boutique shopping, and specialty treats. Time: 5:30 to 7:30 PM. $25
BEACH GLASS HUNT & SUNSET PICNIC
Known by locals as the best beach for hunting beach glass; Conneaut Township Park is a favorite location for enjoying Lake Erie sunsets. The Conneaut CVB has partnered with its members to bring you a delicious lakefront meal after you stroll the shore searching for tumbled treasures. Time: 5:30 to 7:30 PM. $20
