Ashtabula Lighthouse Restoration & Preservation Society

What to expect

The Ashtabula Lighthouse Restoration and Preservation Society, established in 2001 by lighthouse enthusiasts, is dedicated to restoring and preserving the Ashtabula Lighthouse. Their mission includes educating present and future generations about the significance of lighthouses on the Great Lakes and the vital role of the Keepers in maintaining the beacon’s light. Tours are offered when weather conditions permit. Interested visitors are encouraged to call ahead; if volunteers are available and wind conditions are favorable, the society will be happy to accommodate tour requests.
