Swags n’ Wine

A swag is like a wreath only vertical! And what happens when you gather the freshest fir, pine, cedar, juniper, winterberries, boxwood, eucalyptus, cones and other fun materials, plus a swag base, wire, YOU, and expert instruction on a Sunday afternoon in November? Everyone goes home with a fabulous fresh swag that will stay vibrant on your door throughout the winter! Join us at Grand River Cellars for Swags n’ Wine on Sunday November 24th at 1pm for 90 minutes of creative fun. You’ll learn a simple technique for making this winter swag from Maggie Fusco of The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison. Maggie has been making winter wreaths, swags, and table arrangements with fresh materials for over 20 years, plus creating outdoor winter planters for clients in both public and private spaces, and leading workshops for garden clubs. The class is limited to 25. The fee is $50 which includes all materials plus a glass of wine to toast to your success!
